We listen many times to take
responsibility for our life. There is no big deal to take it. The only thing is
that we move from better to best, Victim to Victor. Taking responsibility
teaches you how to respond to life's challenges. You simply move from your
comfort zone to a challenging zone.
Most of us don't take 100%
responsibility, they start blaming others for their failures. They feel that what
happened is because of someone else’s fault.
Let’s discuss 10
ways how this looks in everyday life.
1- Take responsibility for your words and actions.
When we talk about taking responsibility for life it means to
take responsibility for everything. We have to take care of words, actions,
feelings, thinking, speaking with others.
When we fully take responsibility means we agree that what we
speak, think, or actions are yours which come from your mind. We move in our
life with our actions, feelings, words, powers, speaking and these all things
are reflections of our soul and this is the structure of every human being. No
one else can control you at any stage of your life until you allow them to
control you.
2- Don't blame others.
It takes only seconds to blame others or even you start blaming
your fortune. Blaming will only give you temporary satisfaction to your ego. We
have to accept our responsibilities and mistakes with an open heart. Only
acceptance will give you permanent happiness in your life. Just ask a simple
question to yourself what the purpose in your life is and what is your role in
your life?
3- Don't Complain
Complaining is another practice that most people always do. They
always pretend to be victimized. Stop complaining, things can never be perfect,
they can go wrong, Your plans can’t be successful always, You might see ups and
downs in your life but it does not mean we start complaining about everything
goes wrong. There is always a good day behind the dark day. See everything in a
good way.
4- Do not take anything personally.
Don't take everything as a personal attack. Always remember you
cannot stop people blaming you even you don't have control over others that how
they will give your response, but you have control over you how you react.
5- Always try to find happiness in things you do.
The biggest achievement of your life is to make yourself happy
in any situation. This is not less than beautiful art. Happiness does not
come outside. It is always inside you. To make you happy is not someone else
job, not even your partner or your parents. To be happy is a great decision
which we have to take. There are plenty of things which make you happy.
Just sit and explore the ways to be happy.
6- Always try to live in present.
Life is all about what we have in hand, what we have NOW. As we
know the past is history and the future is the mystery, there is only one
moment which is in hand. Just live happy at that moment with a sense of
responsibility to find happiness at that moment. Don't enter bad thoughts or
thoughts of yesterday in your mind. Just stop them from entering into mind, if
you allow your past to enter into your mind, they will only spoil your
present.
7- Always make choices in your life.
We all have the power to make choices, in fact, we always keep
making choices all the time, what to take what not to take. Should I make tea
or coffee? Redshirt or black shirt in this way we always make choices. Always
try to keep good choices in your life where your vision of your life
reflects.
8- Remain calm and confident.
It's very hard to just say to be calm and confident, but when
you take responsibility for your thoughts your feelings and experiences you
feel calm. You know that your response in anger can lead you in the wrong way.
So better be happy, cool and calm with confidence. Don't let the fear of losing
rule you.
9- Always find good in the people.
There is a saying that we judge ourselves by our intentions and
others by their behavior.
Everyone must be treated the way you treat yourself. Try to
understand people instead of listening to them for nothing or to respond to
them just for the response. If you start practicing to first understand
what another person really means, it will solve many problems. Don't wait for a
chance to interrupt them for just for the sake of interruption.
10- Take care of your health.
We have to take responsibility for our health. Our health is the
most precious gift by GOD. There is a replacement for health. Try to avoid
anything which causes damage to your health. Eat healthily, do some exercises.
Good health always gives you confidence and energy. Good health reflects in
your decisions and actions.
